In PolyJet, print heads jet tiny droplets of photopolymer resin onto the build tray, and UV lamps cure each layer the moment it is laid down. The thin layers and precise placement give a smooth surface and a high level of detail, with little post-processing. What sets the process apart is its ability to jet more than one material in the same build – so a single part can combine rigid and flexible zones, transparency and color, with no assembly.
