Home » Manor Architects – an interchange model
A particular project we produced for Manor Architects
A proposal for the development and planning of the Kesem interchange and the Highway 6 interchanges – a business centre and a service station.
Printed in MJF in PA12.
An interchange is a thoroughly three-dimensional object: levels that cross, ramps that curve, and vertical clearances that are hard to grasp from a two-dimensional drawing. A physical model lets planning committees, developers and the public see the project from every angle in seconds, without having to read a technical drawing.
The model was printed in MJF in PA12. The choice follows from two things: the accuracy is high enough to hold thin ramps and barriers at a small scale, and the material is strong enough that the model survives being carried to presentations and committees without breaking.

Send us a file or a description of the problem and you will get a recommendation on technology, material and timescale – talk to an engineer. See more of our projects.
